They are seeking a full-time MES Consultant to provide consulting services, assist with the implementation of manufacturing software, and perform various roles in the software development life cycle.
Responsibilities
- Provide consulting services to the biotech and pharmaceutical industries
- Work on project teams to assist with the implementation of manufacturing software
- Perform various roles in the software development life cycle, including programming, project management, software validation and unit testing
- Interact closely with clients and communicate with team members and external stakeholders
- Perform development or validation activities for the OpsTrakker mobile app when not at a client site
- Travel to customer sites as required, with frequency varying based on project needs
Skills
- Understanding of the software development life cycle and familiarity with the various phases such as gathering user requirements, developing software code and/or executing test protocol
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as Operations, Computer Science, Engineering, IT, or Business Administration
- Familiarity with MES software packages such as Korber/Werum PAS-X, Emerson Syncade, POMS/POMSnet, Rockwell ProPack Data/PharmaSuite, Camstar, or SAP MES
- Ability to travel to client sites when necessary
- Openness to career development and feedback to promote future job advancement
