Job Title: IT Business Analyst Location: Remote- USA Mode of Hire: Contract Job Description: Selling point to the customer : Application migration knowledge/data center migration knowledge Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior IT Business Analyst to support large-scale application migration and transformation programs. This role will act as a critical bridge between business stakeholders, technology teams, and program leadership, working closely with the Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM) to drive planning, execution, testing, and sign-off activities. Key Responsibilities: Partner with Program / Project Manager to define application migration strategy, scope, and roadmap • Identify dependencies, risks, and sequencing for application migrations • Facilitate workshops to gather business and technical requirements • Develop and maintain migration plans, runbooks, and checklists • Act as the primary liaison between business users, IT teams, QA, and vendors • Drive alignment across cross-functional teams for migration milestones • Conduct regular status meetings and executive updates • Capture functional and non-functional requirements for migrated applications • Document current vs. future state processes, data flows, and system interactions • Ensure traceability from requirements through testing and sign-off • Coordinate SIT, UAT, and regression testing cycles • Define test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and validation approach • Ensure defects are tracked, prioritized, and resolved in a timely manner • Establish entry/exit criteria for each migration phase • Drive business sign-offs post-validation and ensure readiness for go-live • Support audit and compliance requirements related to migration • Proactively identify risks and mitigation strategies • Escalate critical issues to Program Manager and leadership Required Skills & Qualifications: • 8 12+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst in enterprise environments • Strong experience in application migration / cloud transformation programs • Proven ability to coordinate across multiple teams and stakeholders • Hands-on experience with testing coordination (SIT/UAT) • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies • Excellent documentation and communication skills • Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar Preferred Qualifications: • Experience in financial services, banking, or large enterprise domains • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) • Familiarity with data migration, integration, and validation frameworks PSRTEK is a reputed technology recruitment and IT staffing brand with a global footprint and an admired client base.
