[Remote] Principal Finance, NACF Operations Finance, Traditional Sortable and Softline (TSSL) Finance

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Amazon is seeking a Principal Finance professional to join their North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) Finance team. The role involves leveraging data to build predictive models and support strategic decision-making, while collaborating with various stakeholders across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Develop strategic financial analyses and models to solve complex challenges facing the business, using solid financial knowledge and business acumen with minimal guidance to deliver actionable recommendations
• Influence business owners and senior leaders through data-driven recommendations, supporting strategic decision-making across the organization
• Identify and implement opportunities to resolve finance issues, improve, scale, or simplify finance tools, technology, and processes across teams and organizations
• Negotiate priorities and resources across multiple teams to facilitate timely and high-quality solutions while maintaining the highest standards of financial controllership

Skills

• 12+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 7+ years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
• 8+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience
• 8+ years of spearheading strategic cross-functional initiatives that deliver measurable financial results and advance organizational objectives experience
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, and Computer Science)
• Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or other BI packages
• MBA, or CPA
• Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
