King & George, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead large-scale maintenance and engineering contracts within a military or government environment. The role involves managing complex operations with strong leadership, ensuring compliance with industry regulations, safety, and quality standards. The Program Manager will oversee contract execution, lead multidisciplinary teams, manage budgets, and liaise with government officials and contractors.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the execution of maintenance and engineering contracts, ensuring alignment with contract specifications, timelines, and budget requirements
- Develop and implement comprehensive project plans, including scope definition, resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies
- Lead multidisciplinary teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members
- Act as the primary liaison with government officials, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and negotiation throughout the project lifecycle
- Ensure all activities adhere to federal, state, and local regulations governing construction and maintenance operations. Uphold safety and quality assurance protocols
- Monitor and manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and delivering projects on time and within allocated resources
- Provide technical guidance in civil engineering operations and leverage engineering and project management software tools to optimize performance
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive progress reports, performance metrics, and compliance documentation to relevant stakeholders
- Maintain eligibility and comply with requirements for access to sensitive and restricted areas
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in civil engineering operations, including 5+ years in a managerial or supervisory capacity
- Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations related to construction and maintenance activities
- Proven experience in project planning, resource allocation, and budget management
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate multidisciplinary teams
- Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging government officials and contractors
- Proficiency in project management and engineering software tools
- Commitment to safety, quality assurance, and operational excellence
- Ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance
- Preferred certifications: Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Familiarity with military protocols and operational requirements (preferred)
