Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. HII's Mission Technologies division is seeking skilled and motivated Project Management Analysts to join their team. The role involves providing direct support within the DLA Research and Development Program, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and managing project objectives and deliverables.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the program stakeholders, project participants, government working groups, industry, and academia
- Facilitate meetings
- Support and monitor program and project objectives, metrics, opportunities, and strategic alignments
- Assist with research and analysis for current and emerging technology reports
- Submit various presentations, assessments, summary reports, and monthly reports to project management team
- Apply technology and program expertise to support various DLA R&D Program initiatives and projects
- Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management
- Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports
- Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives
- Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients
Skills
- 6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience
- Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET government security clearance
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook)
- Excellent customer and organizational level communication, presentation and interpersonal skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Project/program management or engineering experience preferred
- Experience managing multiple projects/priorities preferred
