Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. PowerMind Contractors is an AWS Premier Tier Software Partner delivering cloud and AI projects for enterprise customers. They are seeking a Project Manager to oversee the full project lifecycle across their AWS cloud and AI project portfolio, managing client stakeholders and technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Own the full project lifecycle: planning, resourcing, execution, and delivery
- Manage stakeholders on the client side, including up to C-level when needed
- Choose the right methodology for each project (Agile or Waterfall) instead of forcing one framework onto everything
- Coordinate distributed technical teams across time zones, including regular alignment with the European team
- Keep scope, budget, and timeline honest, and flag risks before they become problems
Skills
- 5+ years running IT projects, with real hands-on experience on AWS cloud projects
- Have managed IT projects for external clients as a consultant or contractor, not just internal company projects
- Fluent English, remote-work discipline, and a track record of finishing what you start
- Must be based in the United States, with an active registered business entity to contract through
- Exposure to AI/ML projects (MLOps, LLM-based systems, data pipelines) is a strong plus
- Some Product Owner experience or skills are a plus
