[Remote] Project Manager, Strategy and Operations

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Harris Health is the public healthcare safety-net provider serving the residents of Harris County, Texas. The Project Manager, Strategy and Operations, will oversee complex projects aimed at meeting the strategic and operational objectives of the health system, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure efficient implementation of performance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, monitor, and oversee complex projects utilizing cross-functional teams to deliver defined requirements and meet Harris Health System strategic and operational objectives
• Support all levels of leadership in Care Transitions & Integration, ensuring that performance initiatives and operations are implemented efficiently system-wide in a consistent, timely, and uniform manner
• Work with various clinical and operational stakeholders, vendors, information technology, legal and purchasing independently to define projects' objectives and scopes, managing internal and external relationships through effective communication
• Collaborate with all Health System stakeholders to determine operational gaps and provide support for any project activity

Skills

• Bachelor's Degree
• Six Sigma Green Belt LSSGB or Six Sigma Black Belt LSSBB required within 2 years of beginning this position
• Three (3) years of work experience in project management, strategic planning, or operational experience required, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Communication Skills: Above Average Verbal Communication (Heavy Public Contact), Exceptional Verbal (Public Speaking), Writing/Correspondence, Writing/Reports
• Proficiencies: MS Excel, MS Word, PC
• Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Analytical Abilities, Medical Terminology Knowledge, Statistical Knowledge and Abilities
• Master's Degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, or related field
• Three (3) years of management experience preferred, preferably in a health care setting
