Ray Murray, Inc. is a leading distributor of propane & compressed gas equipment, hearth, heating & outdoor living products operating across the United States. The Regional Sales Manager role involves managing and expanding sales in the Upper Midwest region, building customer relationships, and developing sales strategies to meet targets. The position requires regular travel within the designated territory and collaboration with multiple departments to achieve company goals.
Responsibilities
- Managing and expanding sales in an assigned region
- Building and maintaining customer relationships
- Identifying growth opportunities and meeting sales targets

- Providing excellent customer service
- Collaborating with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and company goals are achieved
- Regular overnight travel within the designated territory is required

- Proven experience in sales management, customer relationship management, and territory development
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills for building and maintaining client relationships
- Demonstrated ability in strategic planning, market analysis, and developing successful sales strategies
- Positive attitude and strong team collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote capacity and effective time management skills
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without sponsorship
- Employment is contingent upon an acceptable background check
- Experience working in the propane, HVAC, or related industries is a plus
