Activ8 Recruitment & Solutions is an international telecommunications component manufacturer seeking a Sales Account Manager responsible for managing technical relationships with accounts in a particular territory of the United States. The role involves developing client relationships, coordinating with sales and technical teams, and tracking sales account goals.
Responsibilities
- Manage establish accounts to achieve long-term success with clients
- Develop relationships within existing customer base
- Coordinate with insides sales and technical personnel to maintain current clients with also developing new opportunities
- Determine and track sales account goals in line with company objectives
- Act as customer liaison and maintain sales forecasting
Skills
- BA in Business, technical degree or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience in B2B sales in telecommunications industry
- Experience with fiber optic connectors, cable assemblies or related electro-mechanical devices
- Ability to travel up to 50 percent
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Experience with related OEMs is a plus
