Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. mx51 is a payments-as-a-service solution for banks, non-bank acquirers, and other merchant service providers. As a Senior Engineer within the mx51 Backend team, you will be instrumental in delivering key projects for the business, playing a vital role in developing our platform that allows merchants to accept payments.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-throughput, fault-tolerant microservices in Go that power our backend
- Design technical solutions to meet our customer needs
- Shape data models and optimise queries for our PostgreSQL databases
- Champion code quality through code reviews, testing, and refactoring
- Work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to deliver solutions our customers love
- Keep an eye on emerging tech and best practices, and bring good ideas back to the team
- Champion AI tooling and automation to improve quality and remove bottlenecks
