The Senior Executive Vice President of Financial Planning is responsible for overseeing the company's financial planning, budget management, and strategic financial analysis, ensuring the company's financial health and efficient allocation of resources.
Responsibilities
- Lead the formulation of the company’s medium- to long-term (3–5 years) financial strategy and planning
- Build corporate-level financial models to support business expansion, M&A, and market entry
- Provide financial feasibility analysis and risk assessment for strategic decision-making
- Oversee annual budget preparation and the rolling forecast system (Forecast & Rolling Plan)
- Optimize budget management processes to improve forecast accuracy and execution efficiency
- Monitor budget execution and drive business units to achieve financial targets
- Lead the financial analysis team in conducting in-depth analysis of revenue, costs, profits, and cash flow
- Provide business performance insights to support product, market, and operational decisions
- Establish a framework of key financial indicators (KPIs/Dashboards)
- Participate in capital structure optimization and investment decisions (CapEx/M&A/investment project evaluation)
- Enhance capital utilization efficiency and return on investment (ROI/ROIC)
- Manage overall corporate capital planning and resource allocation
- Collaborate closely with the CEO, COO, and executives across business lines
- Support the implementation of business growth strategies and cost control measures
- Drive the deep integration of finance and business operations
- Lead the global Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team
- Build a high-performing finance organization and talent pipeline
- Drive capabilities in financial digitalization and automation
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
- Over 20 years of finance-related experience, including at least 8–15 years in senior management roles
- Familiarity with financial systems in large multinational corporations or high-growth enterprises
- Strong strategic thinking and business insight
- Proficiency in financial modeling, budget management, and data analysis tools
- Excellent cross-functional communication and executive-level reporting skills
- MBA preferred
- Experience leading global teams is preferred
