They are seeking a Senior Lead Software Engineer to lead a team in designing and building backend services, while mentoring engineers and ensuring high-quality software delivery.
Responsibilities
- Design, architect, build, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python, Postgres, FastAPI, and Temporal
- Design and optimize database solutions
- Write strong unit tests and help drive engineering quality
- Apply DevOps practices across CI/CD, deployment, monitoring, and reliability
- Take ideas from concept to production and continuously improve them
- Use AI to accelerate development and improve engineering productivity
- Troubleshoot production issues and implement durable fixes
- Lead a small team — set technical direction, run code reviews, and raise the engineering bar
- Mentor and grow engineers through pairing, feedback, and stretch opportunities
- Partner with product and leadership to scope, prioritize, and deliver roadmap commitments
- Help recruit, interview, and onboard new engineers as the team grows

- Solid understanding of DevOps concepts, including containers, deployment, monitoring, and reliability
