The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will architect and train deep learning models for processing telemetry streams and collaborate with backend developers to integrate these models into production systems.
Responsibilities
- Architect and train custom deep learning models to process live, continuous multi-sensor telemetry streams
- Build high-throughput inference loops optimized for ultra-low latency execution profiles
- Develop custom processing extensions to handle extreme bandwidth constraints without packet loss
- Establish baseline model architectures locally to benchmark and outperform legacy industry subcontractors
- Collaborate closely with core backend developers to integrate models seamlessly into private Kubernetes clusters
- Define the long-term machine learning roadmap for a rapidly growing core product pipeline
Skills
- Absolute requirement for US Citizenship due to defense data constraints
- Extensive experience training deep learning models on continuous streaming datasets, waveforms, or temporal telemetry
- Mastery of Python alongside deep structural knowledge of core machine learning frameworks like PyTorch
- Track record of deploying production-ready containerized applications independent of managed cloud service wrappers
- Production experience writing performance-critical code utilizing C/C++ or writing custom CUDA kernels
- Deep background handling digital signal processing, radio frequency data, or industrial hardware telemetry
- Background thriving within autonomous, high-velocity engineering environments
