Aureon Consulting is a rapidly growing Wealth Management firm executing an aggressive growth strategy through acquisitions and advisor team expansion. They are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager with a deep understanding of the Registered Investment Advisor (RIA) industry to lead the integration of newly acquired wealth management practices into the firm's platform and processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead integration projects for acquired wealth management practices from due diligence through post-close execution
- Develop comprehensive integration plans, timelines, milestones, risk assessments, and communication strategies
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including advisory, operations, technology, compliance, finance, custodial relationships, and client service groups
- Manage advisor and client transition activities to ensure a seamless experience throughout the integration process
- Drive consolidation and alignment of technology platforms, CRM systems, portfolio management tools, financial planning applications, reporting platforms, and operational workflows
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and provide executive-level status reporting
- Partner with leadership to establish integration best practices and scalable processes that support future acquisitions
- Facilitate stakeholder meetings, steering committees, and project governance activities
- Ensure integrations are completed on schedule while minimizing disruption to advisors, clients, and internal teams
- Support organizational change management efforts and help drive adoption of new processes and systems
Skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of project management experience, with significant experience within Wealth Management, Investment Advisory, or Financial Services environments
- Deep understanding of the RIA industry, advisor operations, custodial relationships, and wealth management business models
- Demonstrated success leading the integration of acquired wealth management practices, RIAs, or advisory firms
- Experience coordinating complex, enterprise-level initiatives involving multiple stakeholders and workstreams
- Strong knowledge of wealth management technology ecosystems, including CRM, portfolio management, planning, reporting, and operational platforms
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence and drive outcomes across cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Experience working within a rapidly growing or acquisition-driven RIA organization
- Familiarity with custodians such as Fidelity, Schwab, Pershing, or similar platforms
- PMP, Agile, or related project management certifications
- Experience supporting advisor onboarding, client account transitions, or operational conversion projects
- Exposure to financial planning platforms such as eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, RightCapital, or similar solutions
