The Service Product Engineer will interface with field sales, customers, engineering, project management, and service branches to provide valued solutions and conduct field engineering inspections.
Responsibilities
- The individual will create reports that accurately communicate all aspects of the field inspection and the engineering analysis
- The qualified candidate will have strong technical writing skills and a basic engineering understanding of mechanical/structural terminology and systems
- Additionally, the candidate will perform and create solutions such as: Rail Q, Rail Q 3D, Crane Geometric, CRS inspection reports, Alignments and other Inspections/Testing for all industries
Skills
- Full working knowledge of Microsoft office products (excel, word, power point and adobe) with experience in producing professional documents
- Strong technical writing skills
- Basic engineering understanding of mechanical/structural terminology and systems
- Training and the ability to learn Konecranes internal technical software programs
- 50% Travel Required
- A BSME, BSMET or other technical engineering field is preferred, but applicable experience will be taken into consideration
