Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Midea America Corp. is a U.S. subsidiary of Midea Group, a leading global manufacturer of home appliances. The Senior Business Development Manager will focus on penetrating the U.S. market by strengthening relationships with existing clients and identifying new business opportunities within the OEM HVAC sector.
Responsibilities
- Stay current with product launches or transitions to maintain up-to-date sales engagement programs, including both product and service-related support
- Identify new business opportunities with main OEM manufacturers in the territory, and establish customer rapport with products and services
- Work with all facets of the customer’s organization, including engineering, purchasing/sourcing, operations, product management, and quality representatives
- Provide customer information through presentations covering new products, project schedules, quality performance, and technical training
- Document market and customer findings and communicate the information back to the organization
- Support sales and marketing efforts to evaluate market segment trends, monitor government regulatory activities, and solicit customer feedback
- Supporting team members and peers to achieve KPIs
- Support all product and business promotional activities and participate in regional and international trade shows
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in Technical Sales and Marketing
- Knowledge and understanding of HVAC and/or Refrigeration OEM market segments is a must
- Technical and commercial understanding of scroll (or competitive technology) compressors
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and communication skills (English language)
- Highly motivated, self-sufficient, and capable of managing multiple projects
- Frequent domestic travel with occasional international travel and weekend travel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
