The Coca-Cola Company is a dynamic leader in the hydration market, and they are seeking a Sr. Key Account Manager to manage and develop relationships with the merchant team across COSTCO East/Central Regions and Jetro Corporate. This role involves strategic sales execution, financial objective attainment, and collaboration with internal teams to drive brand growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, development, and execution of ADVANCED HYDRATION promotional plans to all accounts using fact-based industry selling information including IRI / Nielsen and other industry specific data
- A strategic partner to both the regional Sales and Marketing teams to maximize ADVANCED HYDRATION financial investment and capacity while managing to the allotted promotional spend
- Own P&L performance; calculate, review, and report on various budgets for customer
- Provide consistent pre and post analysis of account performance by utilizing syndicated data and bottler sales reports as part of a continuous improvement
- Keep abreast of all competitive and other relevant information and provide consistent feedback to manager, VP Customer Sales and other company leaders as appropriate
- Foster and grow relationships across the Bottler System. Communicate in a timely and accurate manner, all trade plans to bottler and BODYARMOR sales and marketing personnel
- Present customer plans and results at various system meetings to Senior Bottler Leadership
- Operating cross-functionally with multiple internal departments to solve customer problems by providing insight and expertise to grow all brands with assigned customers
- Build strong relationships with internal partners and all field operating units to allow for timely discussions about key issues and opportunities
- Presenting customer updates and plans to management team on an ongoing and timely basis
- Lead all key sales and cross functional routines to drive execution and delivery of all customer and company objectives. Identify gaps in performance and develop action plans to address performance gaps
- Owns customer input and securing alignment on all commercial, Marketing and Innovation plans including strategy, tactics, and key execution requirements
- Own and continuously improve customer forecast accuracy by analyzing demand trends, aligning with customer inputs, and driving data integrity across supply planning systems; proactively monitor customer POs in partnership with Customer Service where necessary
Skills
- Bachelor's Degree or relevant experience required
- 6+ years calling on Retail Accounts in CPG Industry required
- Residence within the TX, NY, IL, GA areas required
- Syndicated Data experience required
- Strong analytical skills required
- Must have excellent computer skills, proficient in PowerPoint, Word, and Excel
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership and track record in Business Development
- Reliable, hard-working & proactive team player with can-do attitude
- Creative thinker who can work independently
- Excellent Team Management and Development Skills
- 50% travel by car and plane, including both local and neighboring geographic territories
- Must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and be able to drive long distances
- Motor Vehicle Records must satisfy Company standards per Driving Policy
