The Staff Accountant will support the accuracy and integrity of financial operations through month-end close activities, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
Responsibilities
- Prepare journal entries and support monthly close activities
- Perform general ledger analysis and account reconciliations
- Complete daily bank reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
- Support balance sheet reconciliations and financial reporting activities
- Assist with commission reviews in partnership with Sales Operations and People Operations
- Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and related reporting
- Provide backup support for accounts payable processes
- Manage accounting-related credit card activity and documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and controls
- Support special projects and other accounting initiatives as needed

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 1-3 years of accounting experience
- Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, Sage, or similar accounting platforms
- Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Experience supporting accounting functions in a technology or professional services environment
