Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Technical Writer to support an organization within the infrastructure and engineering industry. The role involves translating complex systems into clear documentation and maintaining a centralized knowledge base.
Responsibilities
- Document network architectures, automation workflows, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Create process maps, SOPs, and operational playbooks with SMEs
- Manage and organize Confluence spaces, templates, and documentation
- Translate technical concepts into user-friendly guides
- Maintain document version control and accuracy
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and IT teams
Skills
- 3+ years of technical writing experience in IT, networking, or engineering
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (routing, switching, firewalls)
- Experience with automation tools (Ansible, Terraform, CI/CD)
- Proficiency with Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io and Confluence
- Excellent communication and documentation skills
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Agile/Scrum and Jira/GitHub experience
