The role involves collaborating with various teams to develop and maintain high-quality documentation for internal audiences.
Responsibilities
- Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including: Procedures
- Work Instructions
- Forms
- Templates
- Guidance Documents
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather technical information
- Utilize AI-powered writing and research tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot, or similar) to accelerate drafting, editing, summarization, and content organization while ensuring technical accuracy and consistency
- Review AI-generated content for correctness, completeness, and compliance with company documentation standards
- Develop and maintain documentation templates, style guides, and content governance practices
- Organize and improve documentation within knowledge management systems
- Continuously identify opportunities to automate and improve documentation workflows using AI technologies
- Ensure documentation remains current with product releases and feature updates
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Technical Communication, English, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of professional technical writing experience
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve documentation development and editing workflows
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering and best practices for generating high-quality technical content with AI
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, user-friendly documentation
