Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Full-Time Travel Sales Associate to assist customers in planning their travel experiences from home. The role involves providing expert guidance on travel bookings and building lasting customer relationships while achieving sales goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist members and customers via phone, email, and web chat with travel reservations and inquiries
- Book domestic air, hotel, rail, and car rental reservations
- Promote preferred travel partners and AAA travel products
- Build long-term customer relationships that encourage repeat business
- Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell travel products and services
- Use airline reservation systems, GDS platforms, and travel partner booking tools
- Ensure compliance with ARC regulations and AAA policies
- Maintain accurate customer records and travel documentation using DocuWare
- Meet or exceed established sales and performance goals
- Stay informed on travel products, services, and policy updates
- Assist members with hotel reservations for planned road trips
- Participate in testing new systems and processes as needed
- Deliver creative solutions and exceptional customer service
Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of travel sales and/or Retail Sales experience
- Strong customer service, communication, and sales skills
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume contact center environment
- Comfortable assisting customers by phone, email, and web chat
- Proficiency with computers, GDS systems, and travel booking platforms
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
- Ability to collaborate with team members across the organization
- Flexibility to work overtime or holidays when business needs require
- Experience with hotel, airline, car rental, or rail reservations preferred
