Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Bihumanoid is building next-generation humanoid robots and quadruped robots for real-world applications. They are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design, prototype, and build the physical structure of their robotic systems.
Responsibilities
- Humanoid robot mechanical design
- Quadruped robot mechanical design
- Robotic joints, limbs, frames, and structural systems
- Actuator and motor integration
- Gear systems, linkages, bearings, and transmission design
- Lightweight robotic body structures
- CAD modeling and mechanical assemblies
- Rapid prototyping and testing
- Design for manufacturability
- Hardware iteration from concept to working prototype
Skills
- Mechanical engineering, robotics, mechatronics, or related background
- Strong CAD skills: SolidWorks, Fusion 360, CATIA, Onshape, or similar
- Experience designing moving mechanical systems
- Understanding of motors, actuators, torque, load, balance, and motion
- Experience with 3D printing, CNC machining, sheet metal, or fabrication
- Ability to design parts that are strong, lightweight, and practical to manufacture
- Experience with humanoids, quadrupeds, robotic arms, drones, vehicles, or advanced hardware is a major plus
