They are seeking a Vice President of Corporate Marketing to unify their marketing efforts and enhance brand positioning while partnering with the executive team to drive measurable contributions to revenue and market authority.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration of multiple marketing organizations into one high-performance Group marketing team
- Align structure, roles, KPIs, workflows, operating rhythms, decision rights, and accountability across entities
- Connect Demand Generation, Product Marketing, Customer Marketing, Corporate Marketing, Brand, Communications, Content, Social, Employer Brand, and Marketing Operations into one unified GTM motion
- Partner with Sales, RevOps, Product, Recruiting, Customer Success, Partnerships, Finance, and regional leaders to drive measurable revenue, retention, customer expansion, and talent outcomes
- Develop a Group-wide brand strategy that reflects the combined strength of Paystand, acquired entities, global products, and future business lines
- Build a unified messaging architecture connecting AR, AP, FX, Bitwage, mining, USDb, LATAM GTM, AI, customer impact, partner ecosystems, recruiting, internal culture, and future growth
- Create and maintain brand guidelines across positioning, messaging, visual identity, voice, campaigns, events, and executive communications
- Position Paystand as a category-defining leader in B2B payments, financial automation, blockchain-enabled payment infrastructure, agentic finance, stablecoin innovation, and zero-fee commercial finance
- Lead corporate communications, PR, analyst relations, thought leadership, social media, content strategy, employer brand, and reputation-building
- Partner with the CEO / Founder and executive team on founder thought leadership, global speaking narratives, press opportunities, investor-facing materials, and major external moments
- Oversee announcements, press releases, analyst briefings, media opportunities, awards, customer stories, keynote narratives, executive content, and high-impact campaigns
- Maintain a high bar for narrative clarity, originality, commercial relevance, and executive-level communication
- Own the strategy, planning, messaging, and marketing support for major external and internal events
- Build and maintain a centralized company calendar covering conferences, executive speaking opportunities, GTM campaigns, product launches, recruiting campaigns, Foundation events, annual offsites, customer events, partner activations, culture moments, and major company milestones
- Support key events tied to Bitcoin, FX, USDb, LATAM GTM, global payments, blockchain, B2B fintech, ERP ecosystems, partner channels, customer expansion, recruiting, and executive visibility
- Ensure major events have a clear audience, message, owner, business purpose, executive prep plan, campaign support, and measurable follow-up
- Own the connection between product value, buyer pain, market trends, customer outcomes, and competitive differentiation
- Partner with Product, Sales, Customer Success, RevOps, Finance, and Partnerships to define ICPs, buyer personas, value propositions, pricing narratives, launch plans, and competitive positioning
- Build market intelligence rhythms across competitive tracking, win/loss insights, customer voice, analyst feedback, category trends, AI, stablecoin, and buyer-behavior shifts
- Ensure product launches are coordinated GTM motions with clear positioning, sales readiness, customer proof, internal enablement, and measurable impact
- Build a customer proof engine that turns outcomes into credible assets for Sales, Marketing, Partnerships, Customer Success, PR, analyst relations, investor storytelling, and employee pride
- Develop deep fluency in Paystand’s buyers, including CFOs, controllers, AR/AP leaders, finance operations teams, ERP ecosystem partners, and mid-market/enterprise decision-makers
- Partner with People and Talent Acquisition on employer-brand messaging, candidate-facing storytelling, recruiting campaigns, and executive talent materials
- Build the 'Paystand ONE Company' story internally and externally
- Build an AI-first marketing operating model that improves speed, insight, quality, and leverage
- Use AI and agentic workflows to improve research, messaging, content operations, campaign planning, personalization, competitive intelligence, reporting, web optimization, events, and executive communications
- Establish responsible AI standards for brand quality, factual accuracy, data sensitivity, human review, and secure use of proprietary information
- Scale output through systems, tools, AI workflows, agencies, and existing talent before expanding headcount
- Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing marketing team across corporate marketing, brand, communications, content, product marketing, customer marketing, market strategy, marketing operations, and related functions
- Create clarity, priorities, decision rights, KPIs, accountability, and operating rhythms across a distributed marketing organization
- Partner effectively with the CEO / Founder, executive team, sales leaders, product leaders, people leaders, and cross-functional teams
- Operate with high trust, low ego, strong judgment, direct communication, and emotional steadiness
Skills
- 10+ years of progressive B2B marketing leadership experience, preferably in SaaS, fintech, payments, financial technology, enterprise software, or another complex technical category
- Proven experience leading corporate marketing, brand, communications, product marketing, customer marketing, content strategy, market positioning, marketing operations, or executive visibility
- Experience integrating teams, brands, workflows, KPIs, systems, or marketing functions across multiple entities, acquisitions, business units, or geographies
- Strong ability to translate complex technology into clear, commercially compelling buyer and market narratives
- Experience partnering with founders, CEOs, or executive teams on company narrative, thought leadership, launches, investor-facing materials, strategic events, and market-facing messaging
- Strong understanding of how marketing influences pipeline, revenue quality, retention, customer confidence, partner momentum, recruiting strength, and market perception
- Hands-on fluency with AI tools and a clear point of view on how AI and agents transform marketing execution, insight, and leverage
- Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and executive communication judgment
- Job location: Santa Cruz, CA preferred. Other locations possible depending on experience
- Experience in fintech, B2B payments, blockchain, ERP ecosystems, AR/AP automation, FX, global payments, financial services, or CFO-facing SaaS
- Experience leading brand unification, post-acquisition marketing integration, or multi-product narrative development
- Experience supporting executive speaking opportunities, conferences, industry events, customer events, partner activations, or company-wide internal events
- Experience building AI-enabled marketing workflows, agentic systems, or automation-supported content and intelligence operations
- Spanish fluency or strong professional Spanish proficiency preferred to support LATAM business priorities, regional GTM execution, partner communications, and collaboration across Spanish-speaking teams
- Experience supporting LATAM markets, Mexico GTM, cross-border payments, regional partner ecosystems, or multilingual marketing programs preferred
