Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Global Nomadic is a non-profit organization focused on sustainable development in Peruvian coastal communities. They are seeking a Marketing + Communications Intern to manage outreach projects and promote their development initiatives through social media, photography, and event coordination.
Responsibilities
- Social media content creation
- Photography and videography
- Coordination of the design of promotional material for us and its partners
- Communication with our team at home and abroad
Skills
- Minimum 2 weeks commitment for in-person placement
- Ability to work alongside experienced professionals and local communities
- Willingness to learn from educational seminars on international development, NGO/social enterprise creation and management, marketing and outreach, research techniques, and more
- Ability to create engaging social media content for platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Twitter
- Skills in photography and videography to capture community events and biodiversity
- Coordination skills for designing promotional material and merchandise
- Strong communication skills for engaging with the Lobitos community and global donors
- Ability to conduct marketing research and content curation for social media
- Experience in creating graphic elements for online use
- Ability to monitor engagement on online channels
- Participation in online educational seminars on NGO/Social enterprise creation and management, outreach and business development, sustainability perspectives, international environmental and social sustainability standards, and research methods
