Position Summary
The Sales Manager, Aviation Aftermarket Parts is responsible for marketing and selling aftermarket aircraft parts while developing and maintaining strong customer relationships. This role focuses on generating revenue through inventory sales, identifying new business opportunities, responding to customer needs, and supporting the continued growth of Elliott Aviation's aftermarket parts business. This is an individual contributor role for a self-motivated aviation professional who can work independently, manage priorities effectively, and drive results.
What You'll Do
Develop and maintain relationships with aircraft operators, maintenance providers, brokers, and aviation customers
Prospect for new business opportunities and expand Elliott Aviation customer relationships
Market and sell aftermarket aircraft parts inventory
Respond to customer inquiries and provide timely quotations
Negotiate pricing and close sales opportunities
Support inventory disposition efforts and help maximize inventory value
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity information within CRM tools
Stay informed on aviation aftermarket trends and market activity
Attend trade shows, industry events, and customer visits as required
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and order fulfillment
Qualifications & Requirements
Education & Experience
Aviation industry experience required
3+ years of experience in aftermarket aircraft parts sales, aviation sales, parts support, maintenance sales, or related aviation roles
Experience building customer relationships and driving sales growth
Experience using CRM systems and managing sales opportunities
Preferred
Experience selling aircraft parts, maintenance services, avionics, or other aviation-related products
Familiarity with FAA-regulated aviation environments
Experience working with aircraft operators, MROs, FBOs, brokers, or aviation service providers
Skills & Competencies
Strong relationship-building and customer service skills
Proven sales and negotiation abilities
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
Strong organizational and time-management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to identify opportunities and convert them into sales
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems
Location & Travel
Remote position based anywhere in the continental United States. Travel required for customer visits, industry events, trade shows, and business development activities.
Compensation
This is a salaried position with performance-based incentive opportunities.
Total compensation for this role is $80,000 - $130,000 annually, including base salary and incentive earnings. Actual compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, performance, and territory responsibilities.
