We're seeking a Data Engineer to join our remote team and help us solve meaningful problems with clean, scalable data solutions.
What You’ll Do
• Join the team as a Senior-Level Data Engineer
• Build and maintain robust ETL pipelines from scratch
• Work with large, complex datasets using Python and raw SQL
• Use tools like PySpark, AWS, and Databricks daily
• Design, build, and optimize high-performance data pipelines and ETL workflows in Databricks on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and process healthcare datasets, including claims, EHR, and payer-provider data.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops best practices to ensure data quality, lineage, and security.
• Deliver data solutions that drive business outcomes for enterprise clients
What We’re Looking For
• 7+ years of experience as a Data Engineer
• Strong Python and SQL skills
• Hands‑on experience with PySpark, AWS, and Databricks
• 8+ years of experience in data engineering, including at least 5 years hands‑on with Databricks in AWS environments.
• Proven experience working with healthcare datasets (claims data preferred) and understanding of U.S. regulatory standards such as HIPAA.
• Strong foundation in SQL, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing.
• Familiarity with data governance and quality tools such as AWS Glue Data Catalog or Lake Formation.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written)
This job is 100% Remote; please ensure you have a comfortable office set at your desired work location.
Salary range: $60,000 - $120,000 annually, with final compensation determined by your qualifications, expertise, experience, and the role’s scope.
Location
This is a fully remote position; however, candidates must be based in regions that align with the Pacific, Central, or Eastern U.S. time zones to ensure effective collaboration with client and team schedules.
