SENIOR MORTGAGE LOAN OFFICER (MENTOR) - FLORIDA
Are you an experienced Florida Loan Officer that loves to coach? Love mentoring others but still want to be a producing loan officer? Tired of being used by big banks or lenders to produce more and more revenue for their pockets…not yours? We seek a seasoned, patient Senior Mentoring Loan Officer to not only have their own loan practice within our framework, but also, for a split, help mentor newer loan officers to help them grow. Up until now, we’ve only brought on seasoned MLOs, but as time’s gone by, we’ve come to realize that some of the most successful MLOs aren’t necessarily the ones that have developed the “bad habits” over the years. Instead of relying on banks and retail lenders who might lay you off at any second, build your own practice with Castle Rock’s MLO platform. One item of note, some lenders promise huge commission payouts, but they also build in a ton into their pricing. We stay lean and mean, so there’s not a ton of overhead. Putting more money in your pocket while offering great rates to our customers is a huge priority for us.
YOU MUST TO BE CONSIDERED:
- HAVE AN ACTIVE FLORIDA NMLS LICENSE (NOT A REGISTRATION)
- RESIDE AND DO THE VAST-MAJORITY OF YOUR BUSINESS IN FL
- BE ABLE TO DO A MINIMUM OF 2-3 SELF-SOURCED LOANS EACH MONTH
- BE PATIENT AND AVAILABLE TO NEWER, LESS EXPERIENCED MLOs TO HELP THEM GROW AND, IN RETURN, KEEP A PORTION OF THE REVENUE OF THOSE YOU HELP.
- MUST BE A SELF-STARTER THAT IS COMFORTABLE CALLING ON AND DEVELOPING STRONG REFERRAL SOURCES SUCH AS REALTORS, REAL ESTATE INVESTORS, ATTORNEYS, AND OTHERS THAT WILL REFER YOU BUSINESS.
- THIS ROLE IS THAT OF A HUNTER AS WELL AS A MENTOR...SOMEONE WHO IS GENERATING BUSINESS…NOT AN ORDER TAKER.

Requirements
- Florida NMLS License
- Remote, but must be based in and do a majority of your business in Florida
- 2+ Years of Mortgage Lending Experience
- Must have a strong knowledge of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, and VA Mortgage Loan Guidelines
