Role Description
Loan Factory is looking to hire experienced MLO recruiters to help identify, attract, and recruit producing Mortgage Loan Originators, Team Leaders, branch managers, and small broker-owner types nationwide.
This is not a general recruiting role. We are looking for someone with direct experience recruiting mortgage loan originators and a strong understanding of how MLOs evaluate company moves, compensation, pricing, technology, support, and production opportunity.
We already have an internal recruiting and onboarding support team. This role is intended to add a higher-level recruiting layer focused on experienced mortgage professionals who require real mortgage conversations, thoughtful follow-up, and strong candidate qualification.
The Senior MLO Recruiter will present Loan Factory’s value proposition, including its technology platform, pricing, support model, and growth opportunity, while helping qualified candidates move through the recruiting and onboarding process.
What You’ll Do
• Recruit producing Mortgage Loan Originators, Team Leaders, branch managers, and small broker-owner types.
• Build and manage a pipeline of qualified MLO candidates.
• Use MMI, LinkedIn, CRM tools, social media, calls, email, referrals, and industry relationships to identify strong prospects.
• Understand each candidate’s current company, production, goals, business model, and pain points.
• Present Loan Factory’s value proposition clearly and credibly.
• Help qualify whether candidates are likely to succeed at Loan Factory.
• Coordinate with Loan Factory’s existing recruiting and onboarding team.
• Help identify Team Leader, branch, and group recruiting opportunities.
• Track recruiting activity and candidate status accurately.
• Provide market feedback on what producing MLOs are looking for.
What We’re Looking ForRequired
• 2+ years of MLO recruiting experience or directly relevant mortgage recruiting experience.
• Strong understanding of mortgage loan origination, NMLS, production, compensation, pricing, lender access, and broker/platform models.
• Experience speaking with producing MLOs, Team Leaders, branch managers, or mortgage sales professionals.
• Ability to identify real producers versus weak or low-probability candidates.
• Strong follow-up discipline and consultative communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Ability to work with an existing recruiting/onboarding team.
Preferred
• 5+ years of MLO recruiting experience.
• Existing network or book of MLOs, Team Leaders, branch managers, or broker-owner contacts.
• Experience recruiting producing MLOs or teams for a mortgage brokerage, lender, or midsize mortgage company.
• Experience using MMI, RETR, LinkedIn Recruiter, CRM/ATS systems, or similar production-based prospecting tools.
• Experience recruiting by company pain points, market changes, pricing gaps, compensation gaps, support gaps, or technology gaps.

The existing recruiting team will continue supporting basic outreach, onboarding coordination, CRM updates, scheduling, and administrative follow-up.
This role is focused on higher-level MLO recruiting and candidate quality.
There is room for vertical growth in this role as Loan Factory expands its national recruiting efforts.
Compensation
Compensation will include a base salary plus performance-based incentives DOE.
Final structure will depend on recruiting track record, existing network, and fit.
This is not intended to be a long-term per-loan override role.
This role IS intended to have upward mobility as the company continues to grow.
