Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, high‑caliber attorney to join our Mergers & Acquisitions and Strategic Transactions Group on a fully remote basis. In this senior counsel role, you will partner with corporate development leaders, business‑unit executives, and cross‑functional legal teams to structure, negotiate, and close high‑value transactions that shape the future of telecommunications. Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Deal Execution: Lead end‑to‑end legal work on M&A, spectrum acquisition and swap transactions, joint ventures, venture‑capital investments, and other strategic initiatives, ensuring alignment with Verizon’s long‑term business strategy.

Essential Qualifications
- Education & Licensing: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school; admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction with eligibility for New Jersey In‑House Counsel Limited Licensure.
- Professional Experience: Minimum of six (6) years of post‑law‑school experience, including at least three (3) years of hands‑on M&A or complex corporate transaction work at a top‑tier law firm or in‑house legal department.
- Transactional Expertise: Proven track record negotiating high‑value M&A, joint venture, and spectrum transactions, with demonstrated ability to manage large, multi‑disciplinary deal teams.
