Senior Salesforce Developer
Location: Remote
Travel: 1 2x per year (occasionally up to 4x) for cross-functional hackathons (Austin, TX)
Duration: 6-month contract to hire
Role Overview:
Senior-level, hands-on Salesforce Developer focused on full-stack development with a backend emphasis. This is not a ticket-only execution role requires someone who can think beyond user stories and contribute to architecture, design, and scalable solutions. Strong communication skills and a growth mindset are critical.
Current Environment / Project:
• Supporting an established Salesforce ecosystem
• Core platforms:
• Sales Cloud (B2B)
• Service Cloud (customer support workflows)
• Marketing Cloud (supporting engagement layer)
• Integrated with two external platforms
• Focus on enhancing and evolving an existing implementation rather than net-new build
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and develop scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales and Service Cloud
• Build and maintain backend-heavy logic and integrations
• Contribute to architecture decisions and long-term platform strategy
• Develop in Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
• Work cross-functionally with business and technical teams
• Participate in innovation initiatives (e.g., internal hackathons)
Required Skills / Experience:
• Strong experience in:
• Sales Cloud
• Service Cloud
• Full-stack Salesforce development (backend-leaning)
• Apex development and REST API integrations
• Experience building and consuming APIs
• LWC (Lightning Web Components)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to think architecturally, not just execute tasks
Nice to Have:
• Experience with:
• Data Cloud
• Experience Cloud
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS or Google Cloud Platform preferred)
• DevOps mindset (CI/CD exposure; pipeline implementation forthcoming)
