Job Summary
The Senior Sourcing Specialist will be responsible for leading strategic sourcing initiatives and contract management for professional services across The Walt Disney Company. This includes developing and implementing sourcing strategies, negotiating contracts, and building relationships with key suppliers. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic sourcing, excellent analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic sourcing plans and contract management strategies for professional services across the organization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their sourcing needs and develop tailored solutions
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders, including RFPs, negotiations, and contract execution
- Evaluate suppliers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria
- Analyze bids and proposals to identify opportunities for cost savings and improved value
- Prepare and execute clear, value-based negotiation strategies utilizing Strategic Sourcing methodology
- Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
- Communicate and document the status of outside relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
- Analyze market trends and conditions that may impact internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in services category sourcing
- Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Strong strategic agility, with the ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, including basic legal terms and conditions
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
Preferred Qualifications

- Experience working with companies that provide consulting and advisory services
- Professional Services Sourcing background
- Consulting/Advisory experience
