ThermoFisher Scientific is seeking a highly skilled SAP Basis Administrator to join our global SAP Technology Services team as a Band5Systems Analyst II. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with3+ years of SAP Basis experience, including exposure to SAP S/4HANA and HANA database administration. The successful candidate will help support andoptimizecritical SAP systems in a hybrid working environment.
Key Responsibilities
Administer SAP systems including ECC, S/4HANA, BW, PI/PO, GRC, and Solution Manager across development, QA, and production landscapes.
Execute system upgrades, support package implementations, kernel updates, and system refreshes.
Managetransportsand CTS+ across distributed environments and troubleshoot interface integrations.
Monitor SAP system performance, execute root cause analysis, and resolve technical issues proactively.
Collaborate with global functional and technical teams on SAP deployments, migrations, and improvement projects.
Maintain up-to-date documentation, SOPs, and system configuration records.
Ensure SAP environmentscomply withinternal security and audit requirements.
Participate in on-call rotation for 24x7 production support.
Qualifications
3+ years of hands-on SAP Basis administration experience in enterprise environments.
Experience with SAP S/4HANA, including HANA database administration and optimization.
Proficiencywith Linux and Windows Server environments.
Familiarity with SAP Solution Manager, system monitoring, transport management, and job scheduling tools.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot performance, security, and connectivity issues.
Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Preferred Skills
Hands-on experience with S/4HANA migration projects.
Familiarity with SAP GRC, Web Dispatcher, and Fiori Launchpad/Gateway.
Exposure to SAP hosting on cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
Understanding of ITIL processes and service management best practices.
