We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Content Developer, to join our Regulatory Affairs team and create clear, user-focused content that is suitable for a diverse, global audience and supports both patients and healthcare professionals.

The Role
As a Technical Content Developer, you will be comfortable working with technical concepts, adhering to legislative requirements, and have experience authoring content in a Component Content Management System (CCMS).
This role also offers an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of technical writing at Blatchford through the exploration of AI and content automation, supporting continuous improvements in how we create, manage, and deliver information.
Key duties:
Supporting migration from unstructured content to a Component Content Management System (CCMS)
Creating and maintaining modular, reusable content in a CCMS, for use in instructions for use, user guides and help guides for medical devices
Configuring CCMS workflows and templates
Designing and following content models and organising content for publication across a variety of digital platforms
Using translation and localisation systems to help make our content truly global and ensuring content meets accessibility standards
Supporting with implementation of electronic IFUs
Working confidently with established company tools, templates, and style guidelines, while also contributing ideas for how we can evolve them
Taking an active role in continuous improvement efforts, sharing suggestions, and exploring new approaches
Collaborating closely with subject-matter experts and stakeholders across teams, building strong working relationships
Contributing to project planning helping to keep work organised, transparent, and on schedule
Following company quality standards and processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability in all produced content
What are we looking for?
As Technical Content Developer, you will have the following;
Key skills
Bachelor’s degree in a scientific, engineering or related field
Experience in developing technical content in a regulated industry
Previous AI experience and ability to demonstrate how AI is used in practice
Excellent written and spoken communication
Excellent attention to detail
Proven ability to effectively collaborate and work with cross-functional teams
Ability to work productively in a fast-paced environment
Additional European language(s) desirable
