Position Title: Part-time Outpatient/PHP General Psychiatrist
Location: Gulfport, MS (Tele-psychiatry or on-site)
Gulfport Behavioral Health System is a specialty hospital located on the Mississippi Gulf Coast for more than 33 years.
Gulfport Behavioral provides a full range of treatment options, including outpatient therapy, day treatment and inpatient services for children as young as 4 years of age, adolescents, and adults. We are dedicated to helping patients develop the skills necessary to live a life of long-term recovery and health.
Position Overview:
- Role: Part-time Outpatient/PHP position, 20 hours per week.
- Patient Population: ages 18 and older
- Schedule: Monday-Friday 12 PM - 4 PM CST
- Caseload: will vary
- Employment Type: Part-time hourly position
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct admission evaluations, develop treatment plans, and provide ongoing treatment follow-up for patients.
- Participate in treatment team meetings.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.
- Complete required patient documentation and notes in accordance with facility guidelines.

Qualifications:
- Education: Board Certification in General Psychiatry.
- Training: Successful completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency.
- Licensure: Mississippi medical license and DEA in good standing or eligibility to obtain it.
- Experience: Must be comfortable treating child-adult populations.
- Leadership: Participation in meetings when requested by CEO.
