About the Department of Theatre and Dance

The Department of Theatre and Dance at FAU is a hub of artistic activity, producing seven shows per year during the academic year and two through the Summer Repertory Theatre Program. With a strong emphasis on both theoretical and practical aspects of theatre and dance, the department offers seven majors and two minors at the B.A., B.F.A., and M.F.A. levels. The Dance program, in particular, is designed to be inclusive and accessible, catering to students with varying levels of experience and background. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of the Dance program, contributing to its growth and excellence.

Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced dance professional to join our faculty as a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Dance. Compensation and Benefits
