Key Responsibilities:
- Process patient cases and create benefit investigations within our system
- Make outbound calls to insurance companies to determine if patients have coverage for pharmaceuticals
- Pay close attention to detail and maintain accurate records
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and healthcare providers
- Work independently in a remote setting and maintain a high level of productivity
- Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of insurance verification experience (no exceptions)
- Active high-speed internet installed and ability to work from home
- Ability to hardwire to internet router
- Quiet workspace free from background noise and distractions
- Availability for shifts between Monday - Friday 7a - 8p CST
- Ability to multi-task and use dual monitors
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Reside in the state of Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Texas, or Utah to be considered
Preferred Qualifications:
- Medical call center experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
