Job description: Cancer Network in the Raleigh-Durham, NC area is seeking several Onsite or Remote Certified Tumor Registrars to join their team.

The role you will play

• This person analyzes, abstracts and codes demographic, patient and cancer related information, treatment and staging from the medical records on all cancer cases seen and/or diagnosed
• Performs life time follow-up to provide cancer incidence, treatment and outcome information to appropriate data bases, for quality improvement activities, administrative planning and marketing, and support programs.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, develop and maintain working relationships with physicians, department members, and others concerned with cancer registry activities.

Background Profile

**Candidate must be available onsite or remote in AZ, FL, GA, IA, KY, MD, MI, MS, NC, OH, PA, SC, TN, VA, WV, WI only.

• Certified Tumor Registrar (CTR) required
• At least 3+ years of experience
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision, develop and maintain working relationships with physicians, department members, and others concerned with cancer registry activities
• Aptitude for working with statistics and other detail work
