Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, some evening/weekend hours

SALARY: Anticipated starting salary is $47,597.00 - $50,000.00. Actual salary will be commensurate with education and experience in accordance with the MCCC/MTA collective bargaining agreement. GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES:

Working closely with the Dean of Liberal Studies, The Director of ESL Navigation, the English as a Second Language Department, admissions, and advising, the ESL Achievement Coach is responsible for providing a broad range of services in support of noncredit and credit ESL students. The Achievement Coach will help with student recruitment, initiate student contact to ensure student success, counsel students on attendance and other issues, research and evaluate available community services in assisting students to remove barriers to successful learning, and develop and implement recruitment and retention strategies.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: * Assists advising efforts in student recruitment and registration processes; serves as liaison between students, deans, Director of ESL Navigation, faculty, admissions, and advising staff. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Reports to the Director of ESL Navigation
