Health Fitness Professional in Indianapolis, IN Weekdays only in Corporate Fitness
What you'll be doing:
As a Health Fitness Professional, you'll coordinate, implement, and deliver health and fitness programs and services, promotions and outreach activities. This role is responsible for providing outstanding service to members & program participants to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Work schedule: Monday-Friday 11AM-7PM.

What you'll be doing:
As a Health Fitness Professional, you'll coordinate, implement, and deliver health and fitness programs and services, promotions and outreach activities. This role is responsible for providing outstanding service to members & program participants to maximize participation, outcomes and customer satisfaction. Work schedule: Monday-Friday 11AM-7PM.
- Supervise facility. Interact with participants and monitor equipment and participant safety.
- Provide personal training & and group exercise instruction. Educate participants on proper techniques to maximize exercise safety and effectiveness.
- Coordinate and lead a variety of HealthFitness and program-specific health improvement programs & promotions.
- Participate in membership drives to acquire new participants. Enroll new participants and conducts facility, program and equipment orientations.
- Promote program offerings and conduct outreach activities to increase participation and re-engage inactive participants.
- Create and maintain bulletin boards, newsletters and other marketing & communication materials.
- Conduct fitness testing and assessments and advises participants of results. Design individualized programs to meet the participant's interests, abilities and goals.
- Research health & fitness educational topics and identify appropriate participant educational materials. Conduct health education seminars/presentations.
- Other duties as needed/assigned.
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science, Health Promotion, Kinesiology or related discipline & some fitness industry experience OR 3+ years of related fitness industry experience along with industry recognized fitness certification(s) from a HealthFitness approved provider (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
- Adult First Aid and CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days.
- Industry recognized Group Exercise certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NCCPT or NETA required within 60 days.
- Personal Training certification from an industry recognized and HealthFitness approved provider required within 120 days.
- Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test.
