- Ability to make some independent judgments with prescribed policies and procedures.
- Ability to lead student exercises and activities.
- Ability to comprehend and follow oral and written instructions.
- Ability to communicate with appropriate student age group requiring the use of both empathetic and dis-ciplinarian approaches.
- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with supervisor, other staff and students.
- Prefer knowledge of spelling, punctuation, capitalization, word usage and sentence con-struction of a Spanish and/or Russian language as necessary to detect and correct basic errors in prepared material.
- Reasonable knowledge of office practices and procedures.
- Demonstrated aptitude as necessary to perform duties of a tutorial nature as well as basic clerical tasks.
- Establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with staff and students.
- Must have a working knowledge of oral and written English adequate to communicate with other staff.
- Bilingual preferred.
