Job description: The Midwest Regional ESC is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the following position:

Position: Speech Language Pathology Assistant

Part-Time or Full-Time: Full-Time: 4-5 days a week Part-Time: 2-3 days a week. Availability for both Full and Part-Time

Building/District Location: Multiple open locations: -Upper Scioto Valley Schools -Ridgemont Local Schools -Simon Kenton -Sidney City -Bellefontaine

Special Requirements: Must hold, or have the ability to obtain, a valid ODE Educational Aide permit. (Must have a High School Diploma. Degree is preferred.) Certain district locations require additional training and evaluations.

Reports to: Speech Language Pathologist, Director of Student Services, Director of Special Education or Designee
Job Objective: Under the direction and supervision of a Speech and Language Pathologist, the Speech and Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) provides a variety of administrative support services.
Note: The Speech and Language Assistant is NOT able to conduct evaluations, interpret data, alter IEP plans, or perform any task without the express knowledge and approval of the supervising SLP.
