We are a software development organization specializing in showing customers what they get before they buy. We have built an innovative Countertop Visualizer web application. We have landed multiple large clients ($50-$150M ARR). The tool is generating fantastic top-of-funnel engagement. Users love interacting with the tool, but we are seeing a massive drop-off right before the final step. Digital window shoppers are viewing thousands of materials, but they are failing to convert into actionable, high-intent leads. -- About the Project: Our web app allows users to upload a photo of their own kitchen (or use a template), apply various countertop materials, and visualize the transformation in real-time through a 3-step flow. The technology works beautifully, but the user journey is failing to capture their information at the critical moment. -- What We Need: We are looking for a seasoned UX/UI and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expert with proven success specifically in the kitchen and bath marketplace. You must have a proven track record of optimizing the entire funnel experience for maximum conversion from top to bottom. We don't just need a general digital marketer, we need a strategist who deeply understands the buyer psychology associated with high-ticket home improvement and remodeling decisions. We are looking for an ongoing relationship with someone to optimize all funnels/web apps that we create in this space to maximize conversion rates. -- Key Responsibilities: - Comprehensive Funnel Audit: Analyze our current 3-step visualization and quote-request flow to identify exactly why users are abandoning the process. - End-to-End CRO Strategy: Propose and wireframe actionable UI/UX tweaks, micro-copy adjustments, and user-flow overhauls designed to maximize conversion from the first click to the final lead submission. - Lead Capture Optimization: Restructure our lead magnets (such as our currently underperforming "Free Resource" prompts) and strategically position our "Get Quote" calls-to-action to capture user data earlier and more naturally in the flow. -- Ideal Candidate Profile: - Demonstrated portfolio of successful CRO projects specifically within the kitchen, bath, or broader home improvement e-commerce sector (e.g., countertops, cabinets, flooring). - Deep expertise in user experience (UX) and utilizing behavioral data to drive design decisions. - Proven ability to transition users from a "playground/exploration" mindset into a "ready to buy/request quote" mindset. - Bonus if you’ve worked with vendors for Home Depot or Lowes. -- To Apply: Please begin your proposal with the phrase "K&B Funnel Expert."
