A contract opportunity is available for an audiologist specializing in telehealth services within a school environment located in Indianapolis, IN. This role focuses on delivering remote audiological support and assessment to students, utilizing telehealth technology to ensure comprehensive hearing care.
Key responsibilities include:
• Conducting hearing screenings and diagnostic assessments using telepractice methods.
• Collaborating with educational staff to develop individualized plans to support students' auditory needs.
• Providing counseling and recommendations to students, families, and educators regarding hearing health and assistive listening devices.
• Maintaining accurate records and reports in compliance with school policies and regulatory requirements.
• Staying current with telehealth policies, methodologies, and emerging technologies in audiology.
Qualifications and desired experience:
• Valid state licensure as an audiologist.
• Experience providing audiology services via telehealth platforms.
• Strong understanding of pediatric audiology within an educational setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and school personnel.
• Ability to manage caseload independently while maintaining detailed documentation.
