What will you do as Montreat College’s Director of Government Grants?

Reporting to the Vice President for Advancement, this senior employee will be responsible for growing and improving a comprehensive government grant solicitation and management program that aligns with the college’s mission and strategic plan. This successful leader and project manager will navigate the schedules and bureaucracy of government agencies and the political and competitive dynamics of funders. The Director will successfully secure, manage and execute a portfolio of federal, state, and local funding opportunities. Additionally, this position will coordinate both pre-award and post-award management, working with finance teams, faculty, and administrators.

Salary is commensurate with the requirements of the position and starts in the $70,000 range. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, a 403(b) retirement savings plan, discounted tuition, accrued vacation and sick time: 10 paid holidays as well an organizational closing with paid vacation December 21st January 1st annually. This position can be remote, hybrid or onsite.
