We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at Amazon's Distribution Center in Florence, KY. As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of products.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and process incoming shipments, including inspecting for damage and verifying contents
- Maintain accurate records of inventory, including tracking and reporting inventory levels
- Pick and pack orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Load and unload shipments, including operating material handling equipment as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to Amazon's safety policies and procedures
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds, with occasional team lifts of 50+ pounds
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent walking, standing, and climbing
- Ability to work at heights, including on ladders or elevated platforms
Basic Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1+ year of experience working in a manufacturing or warehousing environment
- 1+ year of experience using online applications, such as a Warehouse Management System or Inventory Management System
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with computer and warehousing equipment
- Experience with reverse logistics operations
