Job Description
YOUR ROLE AT SIXT
- You will collect and analyze data on business operations to assist in decision-making processes and advise leadership teams on solutions
- You assist the product team to build working prototypes to demonstrate ideas/proof feasibility and align with business and IT to implement results in production systems including data engineering, programming, modelling and conceptual development
- You utilize advanced analytics and reporting tools (Quicksight, AWS, Excel) to monitor performance, identify trends, and provide data driven insights
- You perform tests to ensure the accuracy of our models and document your findings and recommendations
- You work as one team with data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and business users to maintain and improve our data models
YOUR SKILLS MATTER
- Experience You are currently pursuing a degree in an analytical subject (e.g. operations research, data science, statistics, mathematics, business economics, engineering or similar)
- Style of work Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-backed recommendations
- Tools You have experience in quantitative analytics with a focus on statistical modeling, optimization methods, and/or predictive analytics in the industry or academic research, You have basic knowledge in Python or R, SQL and Git
- Experience Previous internship experience in pricing or revenue management is a plus
- Hands-on & language skills You are a motivated and empathetic communicator who is experienced in collaborating with software development teams and interacting with different stakeholders and your profile is rounded off by fluent English
