About the Role: Personal Trainers Cheyenne YMCA (WY)
As a Personal Trainer at the YMCA of Northern Colorado in Cheyenne, WY, you will play a pivotal role in helping members achieve their health and fitness goals. You will be responsible for designing and leading personalized fitness programs, providing expert guidance, and supporting clients in a safe and motivating environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement personalized training programs for individuals and small groups, catering to diverse fitness levels and goals.
- Provide expert guidance, motivation, and support to clients, ensuring they achieve their health and wellness objectives.
- Conduct health history questionnaires, fitness assessments, and other pre-participation documentation to create safe and effective exercise programs.
- Ensure all training sessions are conducted safely, and respond to and report any accidents or incidents promptly.
- Maintain accurate records and track client progress, adjusting programs as needed.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment that promotes wellness, engagement, and member satisfaction.
Essential Qualifications and Certifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A nationally accredited Personal Training Certification from a recognized organization such as ACSM, ACE, NSCA, or NASM.
- CPR/PR, First Aid, AED, and Oxygen certifications within 30 days of hire.
- Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills.
- A passion for fitness and a commitment to helping others achieve their health and wellness goals.
Preferred Qualifications:
While not mandatory, the following qualifications can enhance your application:
- Experience working with diverse populations, including varying ages and fitness levels.
- Knowledge of group fitness classes and the ability to lead dynamic and engaging sessions.
- A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:
