Essential Qualifications
- A valid Alaska initial, professional, or master teaching certificate with an endorsement in special education.
- Evidence of content knowledge in the area of special education, demonstrated through a posted degree, minor, or passing Praxis Subject Assessments scores.
- Ability to describe and demonstrate a philosophy of education that aligns with our institution's mission and values.
- Understanding of how students learn and develop, and ability to apply this knowledge in instructional practices.
