Altenar is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Legal/Contracts Officer to support the legal, contracts, and governance functions of the business. The role involves assisting with board processes, legal documentation, and contract administration, working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflows, accurate record keeping, and strong corporate governance across the Company.
Requirements
- Assisting with the corporate governance of the Altenar group of Companies, including arranging board meetings and preparing agendas and board packs.
- Assisting with the creation and preparation of documents for presentation to the Board of Directors for review and signature, particularly customer onboarding documentation.
- Working with the Contracts Manager to ensure legal documents progress efficiently from drafting and collaboration (with all relevant stakeholders) through negotiation to execution.
- Ensuring physical and electronic filing is completed promptly and accurately, including maintaining internal document databases and records.
- Assisting the Compliance department with customer and supplier on-boarding processes.
- Supporting general company administration, including insurance and data protection renewals and other corporate administrative requirements as they arise.
- Assisting with banking administration and payment processes, as required.
- Providing general administrative and ad-hoc business support as required from time to time.
