CBL Aero is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Business Development Manager to drive new client acquisition and revenue growth within the Aerospace and Aviation staffing industry. The ideal candidate will leverage their established network and successful track record in selling staffing solutions to generate immediate business opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to acquire new Aerospace, Aviation, and MRO clients
- Leverage an existing book of business, professional network, and industry relationships to generate new sales opportunities and accelerate revenue growth
- Prospect, qualify, and close new staffing and workforce solution opportunities with OEMs, MRO providers, aerospace manufacturers, airlines, and aviation service organizations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hiring managers, procurement teams, and decision-makers
- Expand existing client accounts through cross-selling and upselling staffing solutions
- Collaborate closely with recruiting teams to ensure timely delivery of qualified candidates and exceptional client service
- Conduct client meetings, presentations, contract negotiations, and pricing discussions
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales and revenue targets
- Represent the company at aerospace and aviation industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking opportunities
- Stay informed on industry hiring trends, labor market conditions, and competitor activity
Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Human Resources, Aviation Management, or a related field (preferred)
- 10+ years of business development experience within Aerospace & Aviation staffing or workforce solutions
- Demonstrated success in generating new business through an established book of business and long-standing client relationships within the Aerospace, Aviation, or MRO industry
- Existing relationships with hiring managers, procurement leaders, HR professionals, or decision-makers at aerospace manufacturers, airlines, MRO facilities, or aviation suppliers are strongly preferred
- Proven history of consistently meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue goals
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce, Bullhorn, HubSpot, or similar
- Ability to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed
- Active book of business capable of generating new client opportunities within the first 30–60 days
- Existing relationships with leading aerospace manufacturers, airlines, MRO organizations, defense contractors, or aviation suppliers
- Experience selling contract staffing, direct hire, RPO, MSP, or workforce solutions
- Knowledge of FAA regulations and aviation workforce requirements
